The Pheasant Hotel

Previously known as The Commercial and the Galloway Arms the Pheasant Hotel now offers excellent accomodation for visitors to the Dalbeattie area looking for a practical and comfortable base from which to explore the local area.

Recently refurbished, we have eight rooms in total, comprising three rooms with a double bed and a single bed,  a single bedroom, a double bedroom, two further twin-bedded rooms, and a family room consisting of one double bed,  a two bed bunk,  and a setee that opens up to a double bed. 
 
All rooms are on suite, seven of the rooms have bath and shower and one of the twin bedded room has a shower.

Wilburs bar and restaurant:

Located on the first floor of the hotel, Wlburs Bar and Restaurant is named after the maternal grandfather of Frances (the owner of The Pheasant). Many years ago this grandfather ran a local fishmongers in the town itself. 'Wilburs' is a great place to start and end your day providing fresh local food to get you going in the morning and to help you relax in the evening.

We are fully licensed and have a wide range of beers, wines and spirits. Real ale is available plus a range of cocktails and some interecting continental beers such as Hoegarden, Leffe, Duvel and Fruit Beers are available for your enjoyment.
